House Concerts

The performers listed on this website (and many others!) often travel long distances between shows. You can have these people perform at your house for your private party or event. Invite several people to attend and ask for a donation for the performer. If you are somewhere close to our route to/from one of our shows, we can stop in, perform at your house and whatever you collect, as well as our CD sales, will help us with travel expenses.

These House concerts give us the opportunity to perform for a small audience, up close and personal where we can spend more time with each person, "spread the word" about Western Music and Cowboy Poetry and show what we do.

They give you the chance to introduce your neighbors to Western Music and those who perform it. Some of the best full-sized gatherings started this way!!

House Concert at the Nelson home near American Falls, ID


Larry Gibson and Nettie Danis On Novembber 15, 2005, Becky Nelson of American Falls, ID held a "House Concert" featuring Larry Gibson. Larry had stopped in on his way home from the 10th Annual Mini Cassia-Snake River Cowboy Poetry & Western Music Gathering held in Rupert, ID and Becky wanted to share her wonderful guest with friends, family and neighbors so she invited a bunch over to meet and hear this fine musician.

Nettie Danis was the first guest to arrive and so was presented an autographed copy of one of his many CD's, plus had her photo taken with Larry. Good fun was had by all and Nettie had such a good time that she is seriously working on a "House Concert" of her own when Larry comes through the area again, in June.

Becky thought it went so well that she too plans another house concert as they not only know Larry Gibson travels through her area to and from performances, but others of his popularity and caliber. They look forward again to a chance to share these folks on a personal level with friends, family & neighbors!
