The 8th annual Townsend Cowboy Entertainer Gathering is scheduled for June 5th and 6th at the Broadwater County High School in Townsend, Montana

Already, we have a large number of fantastic performers coming and things seem to be coming together pretty well. As things develope, I'll post them here. The Gathering will start at noon on Friday, the 5th, with Day-shows from then until 5PM. We'll break for dinner and then the Pre-Show will start at 6:30PM with the Night Show starting at 7:00PM.

Saturday will begin with a Pancake Breakfast from 7:00AM until around 10AM. There will be performers onstage during breakfast and then the regular Day-Shows will start at 10AM until 5PM. The Pig-Roast Dinner will be held in the School Cafeteria at 5PM and Night show will start with the Pre-Show at 6:30PM again.

Day-Shows are free to the public. Night Shows are $8 per person admission. 12 and under free admission.

I have heard from many other performers who are actually going to enrich the oil companies just to come be with us for our Townsend Gathering. It's hard for me to express how good it makes me feel that so many are doing that when I know that travel has gotten so expensive.

Saturday morning the Fire Department will provide a pancake breakfast at the School. Performers eat free, others are $3 each for all you can eat. Saturday evening we will again have a roast pig dinner with trimmings. The Fire Department pit roasts the pig at the school playground and we will eat in the cafeteria. Performers eat free, companions are only $5 each. Regular audience can get tickets for the dinner and show on Saturday from Joann Shindoll (406-266-5771) or Larry Gibson (406-266-3946). Dinner tickets for those other than performers and companions are $18 which covers both dinner and show for Saturday night.

As usual, we will have sandwich items, a veggie tray, pop, coffee and water in the school Home-Ec Room (Green Room). This area is for performers and their companions. If nothing else, we don't want you to be hungry!

After the show, we will be headed for the Mint Bar/Cafe for the jam session. Usually, we jam until the bar closes and then everyone troops over to my house where the jam continues through the night.
